The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) opened the Foreign Scholarship Training Program on non-degree courses for the calendar year 2008-2009 for officials and employees in government and private institutions.
Non-degree training programs from different countries, such as Project Management for E-Government Promotion (Japan), International Certificate in Property Valuation (Malaysia), International Training Course on Small Hydropower Development (India), Top Level Seminar on Peace and Security on Peace and Security (Sweden), can be availed of.
The TESDA Foreign Scholarship Training Program (FSTP) Unit administers and facilitates the processing of application papers of the nominees to the Scholarship Program. The FSTP National Screening Committee will select the recommend the final nominees to the sponsoring country.
Selected agencies and institutions shall be requested to submit their nominees to the FSTP Unit. The selected nominees shall undergo a portfolio assessment and interviews.
