ISAT Administers Recorrida Program

The whole month of October 2008 was designated as the Recorrida month that commenced last October 8-30, 2008 to the different Barangays of Isabela. More or less 3,400 participants who composed of students, officials as well as interested inhabitants of the twenty five (25) scheduled barangays were the audience on the said Recorrida program.
 
The said program was smoothly undertaken through the coordination of the active and ever performing TESDA Provincial Director Mr. Nestor C. Ave and Mr. Igmedio S. Casticon ISAT-TESDA Vocational Schools Superintendent with the Local Government Officials on the scheduled Recorrida. Invitations to Barangay residents and general public were set ahead before the aforementioned schedules.
 
The Recorrida theme manifested in the action plan was “KABUHAYANG ANGAT SA LAHAT KASANAYANG WALANG KATAPAT”. This theme was posted on the tape messages of the TESDA Director General Augusto “Buboy” Syjuco and other audio equipments and paraphernalias previewed to participants. This was done religiously to encourage viewers to be more receptive while listening and viewing. Then a follow up lectures were explained by the chosen TESDA officials and employees. They were: Madam Fatima G. Carag TESD Supervising Specialist IV, Mrs. Merly M. Viernes, TESD Specialist II, Mrs. Bhelynda A. Gonsalez Guidance Counselor of ISAT-TESDA and Mrs. Alma D. Torres, Instructor I.
 
The Recorrida 2008 objectives are as follows: To promote and create awareness for TESDA focusing in its programs and services, its leadership and people to the community at the Barangay level. To provide a venue to dialogue and feel the pulse of the people on TESDA programs and services implementation and to address concerns and issues of the people in the community on TESDA programs and services.
 
With the objectives, the aforementioned activities, the recorded reactions made by interested participants and the number of participants who attended the program was a manifestation of the succesfull attainment of the Recorrida 2008. As a result more trainees and particiapants were enrolled in ISAT-TESDA institutiion and are now enjoying their trainings based on their chosen skills for the purpose of work here and abroad
