Philippine National Construction Corporation Donates Service Vehicles to ISAT

The Philippine National Construction Corporation (PNCC) donated service vehicles to ISAT on February 5, 2009. Two L-200 Mitusubishi pick-ups has been donated to the School through the assistance of PNCC Director Fermin Lusung.

TESDP Building and eTESDA Center Blessing and Inauguration

The TESDP Building for the HVACR Course and the eTESDA Center Blessing and Inauguration was held on November 27, 2008 on the occasion of the 6th ManCom Meeting.

A Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Bishop Joseph Nacua, after which he proceeded to the blessing of the HVACR Building and the eTESDA Center.

ISAT Information System Presented to ManCom Members

The Isabela School of Arts and Trades Integrated Information System (IIS) was presented by Asset Michael F. Tacac, the School Accountant, to the Management Committee (ManCom) on November 28, 2008 during the 6th ManCom meeting held in ISAT.

In the brief presentation, Tacac demonstrated the features and capabilities of the ISAT Website (www.tesdaisat.com), the ISAT Document Management System and the ISAT Data Management System, while Vocational School Superintendent Igmedio S. Casticon explained how the system as a whole helps in the delivery of the programs and services of ISAT.

Madarang Demonstrates Competency-Based Curriculum Training Delivery

Edwin P. Madarang,  HVACR Instructor of ISAT, presented to the Management Committee (ManCom) a demonstration of Competency-Based Training Delivery on November 28, 2008.

With a group of HVCR students, Madarang featured the different aspects of CBT Delivery from the enrollment of the student, during and after the course training. He presented how to handle the orientation and training of students.

Haircutting Graduates Receive Certificates & Business Kits

Twenty one student-trainees in Haircutting were conferred Certificates of Training in a graduation rites held on November 14, 2008 at the ISAT Multi-Purpose Hall.
 

The student-trainess finished the five-day training in Haircutting under the PGMA Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Thru this program, they were awarded Certificates of Training in Haircutting Leading to Beauty Care NC II, and Business Kits to jump start their careers.

Mrs. Amelita Pardinez, Beauty Care Instructor, facilitated the training under the supervision of the TESDA Isabela Provincial Office.

  

ISAT Hosts The Honda Safety Caravan 2008

The Isabela School of Arts and Trades hosted the safety riding awareness seminar last October 2, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. This was participated in by more or less three hundred (300) students from Isabela School of Arts and Trades.

The said seminar was made possible through the partnership letter of Mr. Paul A. Fernandez, the Provincial Administrator with Motorali and Honda Phlippines addressed to Mr. Igmedio S. Casticon, the Vocational School Superintendent of ISAT, Ilagan, Isabela.

TESDA Isabela Joins Stand Up and Take Action (SUTA) Celebration

More than 4,000 Isabelinos joined the nationwide activity of the National Celebration on Overcoming Extreme Poverty held simultaneously at the Isabela School of Arts and Trades (ISAT) and Isabela National High School (INHS) on October 17, 2008.
