The Philippine National Construction Corporation (PNCC) donated service vehicles to ISAT on February 5, 2009. Two L-200 Mitusubishi pick-ups has been donated to the School through the assistance of PNCC Director Fermin Lusung.

ISAT employees attended the ISAT Community Website Orientation on January 23, 2009 at the ISAT eTESDA Center.

As the First Part of the Computer Skills Enhancement Program of the 2009 Staff Development Plan, the ISAT Community Website Orientation is started early on this year to enhance the computer skills, particularly on the use of the ISAT Website (www.tesdaisat.com), of the ISAT faculty and staff.

ISAT employees, led by VSS Igmedio S. Casticon, joined the people of Villa Imelda, Ilagan, Isabela in a Christmas Celebration Party on December 16, 2008.

(Villa Imelda, a distant barangay, is one of the poorest barangay identified by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.)

The TESDP Building for the HVACR Course and the eTESDA Center Blessing and Inauguration was held on November 27, 2008 on the occasion of the 6th ManCom Meeting.

A Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Bishop Joseph Nacua, after which he proceeded to the blessing of the HVACR Building and the eTESDA Center.

The Isabela School of Arts and Trades Integrated Information System (IIS) was presented by Asset Michael F. Tacac, the School Accountant, to the Management Committee (ManCom) on November 28, 2008 during the 6th ManCom meeting held in ISAT.

In the brief presentation, Tacac demonstrated the features and capabilities of the ISAT Website (www.tesdaisat.com), the ISAT Document Management System and the ISAT Data Management System, while Vocational School Superintendent Igmedio S. Casticon explained how the system as a whole helps in the delivery of the programs and services of ISAT.

Edwin P. Madarang,  HVACR Instructor of ISAT, presented to the Management Committee (ManCom) a demonstration of Competency-Based Training Delivery on November 28, 2008.

With a group of HVCR students, Madarang featured the different aspects of CBT Delivery from the enrollment of the student, during and after the course training. He presented how to handle the orientation and training of students.

Isabela School of Arts and Trades hosted the 6th Management Committe (ManCom) Meeting on November 27 & 28, 2008 at the ISAT Main Campus, Ilagan, Isabela.

The event started off with the blessing and inauguration of the TESDP Building for the Heating, Ventillating, Air-Conditining & Refrigeration Course, and the ISAT eTESDA Center.

Twenty one student-trainees in Haircutting were conferred Certificates of Training in a graduation rites held on November 14, 2008 at the ISAT Multi-Purpose Hall.
 

The student-trainess finished the five-day training in Haircutting under the PGMA Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Thru this program, they were awarded Certificates of Training in Haircutting Leading to Beauty Care NC II, and Business Kits to jump start their careers.

Mrs. Amelita Pardinez, Beauty Care Instructor, facilitated the training under the supervision of the TESDA Isabela Provincial Office.

The whole month of October 2008 was designated as the Recorrida month that commenced last October 8-30, 2008 to the different Barangays of Isabela. More or less 3,400 participants who composed of students, officials as well as interested inhabitants of the twenty five (25) scheduled barangays were the audience on the said Recorrida program.
 

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) opened the Foreign Scholarship Training Program on non-degree courses for the calendar year 2008-2009 for officials and employees in government and private institutions.
